Wow, I've been to visit Tigger the Toad and he looks amazing. In fact, he looks so good that the telly people are coming to see him. Mind you, I was obviously there first. Got them interested and all that.
Still a diminutive amphibians work is never done, and I'm making a guest appearance at Biz Week soon. I wonder if my suit is ironed...
I have been joined on my windowsill by the first of the plastic stargazing toads that are, going to be going to the schools. He's alright, but a bit aloof - nose in the air you might say. He arrive on Tuesday wearing a very smart badge that says 'Remove Protective Film'. Not sure what that's all about - maybe a Health and Safety video.
The ceramic Education Master Toad is also here. He's too posh join us on the windowsill, and looks a bit like a cyber toad. He claims it's because the funny plastics people did strange things to him so they could produce the clones, but I think he just likes being painted silver.

I had a sneak preview of the Larkin with Toads education pack today and found out loads of stuff I didn't even know about myself - like why I blink when I eat (well, I would if I wasn't made of some sort of modelling material).
Going to catch up with Tigger Toad tomorrow. I think his paint job's nearly finished and I want to know what it feels like.
Do toads yawn? I'm a little tired so I shall crawl off under my stone - metaphorically speaking.

More sunshine
Well, they've finally let me out of my box full of bubblewrap after brief foray into the world for my 5 seconds of fame on the telly. I do think it's a bit rough, that due to my diminutive stature, my larger cousins are going to get all the limelight.
Still it's very pleasant here on my windowsill, although there is a rather tempting view of some fab looking mud which they won't let me huddle down in.

Well, it's coming to the end of a relaxing weekend under my nice damp stone. I must say this warm weather is bringing out some really tasty insects.
My larger relatives tell me that the first of them is due to be 'primed' tomorrow in preparation for their star appearance in July. I just hope. the artist is gentle with their paint brush, us toads are a delicate bunch.
More soon.

New Arrivals

Hello Toads Lovers
All these Larkin25 types have been representing me, and very well done I might say. However, I am a toad of many talents, so I thought it was about time you heard from the amphibian himself. I've been sitting on the windowsill in the office thinking toady thoughts and waiting for my much larger relatives to arrive.
And now they're here. I'd hop up down with excitement, but toads don't hop, so I'll make do with some excited blinking. Apparently the 'lump' (my favourite collective noun you know) of big toads arrived at 9.00 this morning and they're now recovering from an overnight stay wrapped in bubblewrap in the back of the lorry. I shall get more news soon.
I have to go now. Flies to be eaten and poetry to be written you know.
Signing off
